I really wanted a White Christmas since I knew for the second year in a row I wouldn't get to go to my parent's house for Christmas. Plus Christmas doesn't really feel like Christmas without snow. I just wanted a little snow so I could settle in with some hot chocolate and watch "White Christmas" and sing "Let it Snow!" Well about one week before Christmas "what to my wondering eyes should appear" but a light dusting of snow!! There wasn't quite enough to build a snowman but the girls built a great replica of "Mt. Crumpit" (you know from The Grinch?!). What a delightful surprise a little snow was and even though shortly after it snowed it started raining and washed it all way it was exactly what I needed!
