Nine months seems like forever when you're pregnant and lugging around a yoga ball for a belly along with swollen sausages for feet, just counting down the days until your sweet new baby will arrive. On the other hand it's been nine whole months since Adelaide was born and it has passed in a flash. . .she is growing and learning everything so quickly and can no longer bother to be that sweet little bundle of cuddliness for very long. So here's the great milestones for the month. . .
- Tooth number 3 has officially broken through . . .she now has two little nippers on the bottom and big chomper on the top!
- She has mastered going up the stairs . . .very quickly I learned when I left her downstairs for no longer than 45 seconds one day . . .going down usually results in a tumble though so we are looking into getting a gate.
- She loves music, she does a goofy little dance and bats her hand around like a Biggy Smalls wannabee!
- She loves to be read to, she listens intently as we read the scriptures and our chapter book each night and she sings along during family devotional.
- She took her first hesitant step a week or so ago and is well on her way to walking with confidence
- She says several words like mama and dadda and tries to says "Avonleah" all time!
- She has successfully figured out that arching and protesting often gets some attention from the parents!
- She has figured out that our food tastes way better than those jars of baby food and will only eat them when forced to!

Look at those gorgeous eyes. We love your cute family.
So true about pregnancy feeling so much longer! I guess its easier when you've got a cute little face to look at.
This is Lexi by the way, I'm just too lazy to sign out of Jeff's account. Oh well. :)
