Avonleah was super excited to get her picture taken in front of the amazingly beautiful doors of the Salt Lake Temple.
Polo was freezing and Aunt Vanessa was annoyed that Uncle Jake couldn't find any parking and she was waiting in the cold for him.
Way past little Adelaide's bedtime. . .she snuggled up in this stroller and actually fell asleep 10 minutes into the adventure and slept the whole time!
Uncle Shae and Violette braving the rain/sleet and attempting to have a good time despite the crowds . . .apparently there was a pre-season Jazz game the same night we chose to go to the temple lights and therefore downtown Salt Lake was a disaster area.
Avonleah contemplating the big year ahead of her. She'll be 8 in 2012 and was thinking about the responsibility of the choice of baptism ahead of her. She's such an amazingly spiritual little spirit and really thinks deeply about her relationship with Heavenly Father. She amazes me with her questions and thoughts on religion. I'm so blessed to have her.
This is what happens after a crazy adventure to Crown Burger, braving the crowds of temple square and then the freezing cold . . .aaahhh sweet snoozing!
Avonleah loved the Kiwi bird in this nativity and informed us that it was super special because the kiwi bird is nocturnal and therefore would have been able to see baby Jesus the night he was born ha ha!
Cousins! Ella and Avonleah in front of the temple.
