It's that tricky time of year again and we are certain that we will be able to catch us a little Leprechaun. So here's what we know
- Leprechauns are actually very small and are always boys they have a red beard and wear a top hat . . .(I'm sure Avonleah will question the logic or lack of logic of this)
- If you spot a Leprechaun never take your eyes off of him, he cannot escape until you look away. Be careful he is super tricky.
- By trade Leprechauns are shoemakers/cobblers and wear a leather apron. You can tell if they are near by the tap tap tapping of the hammer. Maybe leave some tiny shoes that need fixed out (I knew I shouldn't have thrown all those polly pocket shoes away)
- Every Leprechaun is said to have a pot of gold that they keep hidden in secret places sometimes at the end of the rainbow. If you bribe him with promises of letting him go he may lead you to his pot of gold.
- We hear that Leprechauns like shamrocks, sparkly things, and Lucky Charms Cereal!
Wish us luck we're off to catch us a leprechaun. . .if we get his pot of gold we may share!!
