Lately Scott has been on Mandatory Overtime at Boeing and along with going to classes in the morning and work each night we don't get to see him very much. . .on the rare Saturday morning that he is home he has this darling little "Donuts with Daddy" tradition with the girls. It's so darn cute to watch them get all powdery with their "flock of seagulls' hair and sleepy eyes. Avonleah is always concerned with the fairness of everyone getting equal amounts of donuts and then is always reminding Scott to take "gentlemenly bites!" I don't even mind the sugar high afterward because he's home to help!

What a great "tradition!" For awhile, P's "tradition" with M was to eat ice cream together when he got home from work (at 2:30pm). I had to be a meanie and put a stop to that...but at least this is so infrequent that it's just a SWEET (get it?) special-times tradition!
