I've Been Working In My Garden

A good friend of ours started a community garden this year and we got to be one of the participating families, so we are anxiously engaged in learning how to garden more efficiently and of course more "greenly" since we do live in the great state of Washington where all things must somehow gravitate toward being "green." Avonleah of course is thrilled with the whole idea and relishes in the weekly visits to the garden to "dig" and to wear her "farming outfit" which consists of bib overalls, her last year reunion tshirt, and rain boots . . .it's really attractive and upon coming home she usually empties the cups of dirts from each boot onto my carpet! She came home from preschool last week all excited because they were learning about plants and flowers and she had learned a new song she had to sing for Boo Boo Grandma and Papa so. . .ENJOY!

What a CUTE song! She should teach it to all our little gardeners. Except for M, of course. She's much too dignified for that.
