Cow Train and Pony Rides

Every year in October we have a tradition of visiting a local Pumpkin Patch Farm and reveling in a little country splendor before the Seattle rains sequester us inside until Spring! This year we found a great little place down the road called Maris Farms. Avonleah spotted this fine "cow train" as soon as we arrived and had to go on it twice, it was so funny to watch her wave goodbye each time and tell us "see you tomorrow" like she was off to college or something. As cute as your kids are sometimes it's tempting to wave goodbye back and then run off . . for an hour or so!
Of course we had to shell out an extra few bucks for our little cowgirl to have a "pony ride." She felt particularly special because she got to ride Thunder a pony that she claimed was "just my size!" She kept yelling "Yee Haw Thunder!" and of course gathered quite a circle of spectators!
