Adelaide is learning her language arts and grammar so well. . .she is super proud of her ability to classify all the parts of the sentences, well at least the Subject Noun, Verb, Adjective, Article Adjective, Adverb, Preposition, and Object of Preposition . . .which is more than I can do let's just point out!!
We are learning about Rome and the Jewish people in history right now and the girls made these Stars of David with their blessings at each point to remind them how God is ever aware of them no matter what and has given them unique blessings and gifts.
We had a Geography lesson about landmarks, both man made and natural and then we talked about the importance of spiritual landmarks to help of not get lost. The girls each designed their own Mormonads (I helped Adelaide a little) to hang up in their rooms to help them remember this great lesson.
Both girls are learning to cook really well and help out in the kitchen every single time I invite them. Avonleah really wanted to learn to make pizza from scratch so we had a little culinary arts class and when we were done her and Adelaide declared that never again will we get pizza from Papa Murphy's because Avonleah's is way better!!!
