Even though the doctors didn't think I should venture off away from their "expert" care of me, we couldn't miss the Rohrer-Union and the 15 hour road trip!!! We survived carsickness, roadside emergency bathroom breaks, construction craziness, and had hours and hours of good old fashioned fun together! Although it was long, everyone is so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and all the cousins that it is always worth the LONG drive! Luckily I had Scott with me on the way to Utah so he did the driving and I got to just be side seat passenger and have all the responsibility of snack handing out, movie and music changing, puke catching, song leading, etc etc etc. . .sometimes being the driver has its advantages I think.
