One of Avonleah's greatest assets is her inquisitiveness. She always has questions and more question that require answers and if I don't have the answers we research and find them. This has led to wonderful conversations and often some uncomfortable moments for me as she's asked every single thing that pops into her mind! She has been very curious about the temple and what you do to prepare to go to the temple and what goes on inside the temple and what covenants are made there. Of course these are sacred topics in our religion, not secret, but sacred and therefore we have had a beautiful bonding time researching and learning about preparing to make and keep sacred covenants in the temple. She recently got to use this knowledge to facilitate conversations during a Stake Activity Day Activity in a neighboring stake. It was so fun to watch her up there in front of all her peers leading discussions and sharing her testimony. She is an amazing little thing and I am so proud she is mine!
