Banned from talking

Here's why overly honest seven year olds should be banned from talking...
Avonleah: "How big is our baby now?"
Me: "um like the size of an avocado, like barely big enough to fit in the palm of Dad's hand."
Avonleah: "umm no offense...but how come your belly is so big then? I don't mean to be rude or anything but you always kind of looked pregnant but now you're like BIG." (she says the word "big" with a scared look on her face)
Me: "if you have to preface a comment with "no offense" you should probably keep it to yourself. "
Now I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep on my huge pillow with a huge pillow for my huge belly! I understand why my parents used to say "children should be seen and not heard."
