My fondest memories of childhood took place at Grandma and Papa's house with all my cousins around. Eating bullet popsicles and watermelon on the lawn, leg wrestling, sitting around singing to the guitar, fiddle and harmonica, waiting for the homemade ice cream to finish freezing, collecting ladybugs, baby horny toads, and Indian Biscuits. Memories of combing Papa's hair for a quarter or stringing buttons and making paper dolls with Grandma make me remember my childhood with great fondness. I am so blessed to be able to have my girls surrounded by loving arms each and every summer as we vacation with my family. . .It's really hard for them to come home after all the fun and love and as Avonleah calls it, the "amazingness of boo boo Grandma's house!"
Elauna is such an amazing little friend to all the younger kids, she spent many hours playing with Adelaide and just letting her follow her around, it was really sweet to watch!
Grandma had special paper dolls for each girl and a whole new world of fun opened up, they literally spent hours dressing up their princesses in extravagant outfits!
Conley and Adelaide loved looking out Grandma and Papa's window at the horses and sprinklers and clouds. .

Uncle Darron aka "The Children Whisperer" is always a favorite for my girls, they absolutely can't wait to see him each year!
My mom spent hours just spraying the kids feet with water and letting them cool off. . .it was so cute.
