Scott and I are both opinionated and stubborn, in a good way of course (ha ha), so why would we expect to have children who are any different? Adelaide has yet to disappoint us with her strong will, she lets us know what she wants to wear (purple sweatshirt and pink pants or pink fluffy skirt), she likes her pink princess chair but only if we tape a picture of Rocket on it and has a really hard time taking turns with her big sister the other princess in the house. She will not try a foreign food (even new desserts) no matter what you promise her, no means no to her . . and she likes to watch Little Einsteins . . .only Little Einsteins every single day thank goodness it's only 20 minutes long and there's like 40 different episodes! Notice her pluggy sitting on the floor waiting for her to finish her popcorn, she recently has refused to put it in "pluggy palace" with it's friends during the day and goes to great lengths to keep it close even if it can't be in her mouth!!
She also spends a good deal of time exerting her power over choices by choosing to stand in time out until she's ready to choose the right choice. . .this particular picture was after her shower and she was thinking about getting dressed. . .it took awhile! What a delightful little two year old!! I love her so much!
