Deadzones and Iphones

I recently moved and SURPRISE! . . . my whole house except for the shower was a deadzone. . srsly . . .I was standing on the couch and then on the table holding my phone high in the air hoping to get just a small bar of service and then curling up comfortably in the bathtub just to send a text. I felt like a loser because no one was calling or texting me and I was all alone in my new house. . .boo hoo, turns out I just couldn't get any of their calls. So, I (okay my wonderful Scott) finally made T-Mobile realize that we can't take our phones in the shower and chat too comfortably, so they reluctantly let us out of our contract early with no fees! Yipee!!

After much research and swindling and making sure that we received the Boeing Employees discount we scored an awesome service plan with AT&T and the only deadzone is now on the couch. . .oh well can't win them all. I thought buying refurbished Iphones was overkill. . .do I really need a phone that does everything?! Turns out YES I DO!! I love my Iphone and here's why. . .
  1. Scripture App no more having to get out of bed to find my scriptures!
  2. Ability to watch Twilight while working out on the "dreadmill"
  3. Check my email without opening my laptop
  4. Waking up to my favorite tunes and automatically knowing the weather and overnight important new flashes
  5. The educational games for my girls. . .sight words flash cards aren't so boring for Avonleah any more
  6. Couch to 10K app to keep me motivated and motivated on my exercise goals
  7. Grocery list scanner. . .just scan the barcode of the used up item and WAH LAH it appears on your list!!
Oh and so much more. . .I wanted to be a hater of the Iphone but I am in love. . .

I just read Cathy this and said . . . "honey, Rene is still on her iPhone honeymoon." She said, "I remember that, babe." I'm still sorta on it. Gotta start saving my pennies for iPhone 4. ENJOY. There is NO GOING BACK. You might start to love it almost as much as Pocket Edward. The couch dead zone is worth it.
