Avonleah joined a children's choir this semester and got to perform at a huge community creche event, the mall, and a community Christmas concert. She worked really really hard memorizing the songs, learning to sing in parts and she had a blast with her buddy Shayla. Next year Adelaide is excited to be part of the fun too!
This is about as good as it got for family pictures this Christmas season. . .oh well maybe next year!
We went caroling at the local Soldier's Home for Elderly Veterans and we ran into Santa! Adelaide was a bit shy of the whole "old people" thing but Avonleah was a ray of sunshine and bounced all around the room after the caroling talking to each and every one of them. She has such a gift for bringing people joy. What a great thing it is to see your children grow and develop into these amazing little human beings.
