It's nearly impossible to find dresses for the 9 year old and up crowd that are modest. They are short, or sleeveless, or see through, or Avonleah can't stand the texture, or, or, or. I've been thinking I may just have to start sewing again. . .and then Costco had some dresses that Avonleah loved. Here's her modeling them for us. . .we later added a little modest tee to lengthen the sleeves and she has been feeling super cute! I am proud of my girls for respecting our ideals of modesty and not complaining. . .I'm sure the fights are coming though. My YW at church are testing their boundaries when it comes to modest clothing and I'm am gearing up for what my beautiful girls may do. But then again my children are perfect so I'm probably in the clear right?!
