After measuring and re-measuring and then debating and re-measuring I finally did it although I nearly cried cutting the ponytail myself because my mom couldn't bear to do it herself but we finally gave in to Avonleah's wishes and cut off 10 plus inches of her gloriously luscious locks. She donated it to Locks of Love so they could make wigs available for kids with cancer and other diseases. . .what a selfless thing, I'm so proud of her and she looks darling with less hair, not to mention how much easier it is to wrangle into a pony tail for me!
