 In beautiful Midway we gathered for a Star Themed Reunion hosted by Vanessa and Jake this year!

 Lots of sprinkler, slip 'n' slide and sandbox fun! For future reference Dad, the slip and slide is not padded on the bottom so throwing your whole weight into will ALWAYS crack a rib . . .OUCH!

 These are the coolest bikes ever. . .thank goodness the boys shared with Adelaide!

 The obstacle course was a lot of fun and even in the heat we all cheered each other on. . .of course I was the fastest and most fit of any one . . ha ha

 Oh My Goodness . . .my mom still cooks like there's 50 of us and all the rest of us aren't too shabby in the kitchen either so there was TONS of delicious food! . . .

 The kids begged for more and more turns at the fishing pond. . .maybe because Vanessa had awesome "fish" like nail polish and silly bands and glow bracelets!

The talent show was really fun and Mom and Dad put on a collaborative story with masks the kids all colored, Shae and Cathy put on an awesome sock puppet show complete with a song, Elauna and Ellie and Livvy danced their little hearts out on the trampoline to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and Vanessa showcased her audition song she'll be using for her upcoming American Idol audition (Go Nessa!), Jake drew darling caricatures of all the kids, and I did the one thing I've been told never to do in public . . .the "Rene Rap!"  It was a really awesome year and we can't wait to celebrate Ethnee's 21st birthday with her next year as she hosts her 80's themed reunion!!!
