Summer Reading Program Rewards!

After reading all 1 million hours and nearly every book in the children's section of our small town-ish library Avonleah was rewarded with a free pass to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. For the past month she has carried this pass in her pocket, folded and refolded it, snuck it out of my purse where it was dwelling for safekeeping and hidden it in a hiding place she often can't remember where is, wrote secret hieroglyphs on, and even chewed off the corner of. I don't know why, but it seemed an impossible task trying to keep this little blue scrap of paper in a safe location. . .so finally after relocating it for the 20th time she got to cash in her ticket for an amazing day of friends and fun!
