One of the girls' school projects required that they plan and carry out a Messiah Family Sing-a-long. Let's just say I did get some interesting responses from parents after they received their invitations. The girls chose some of their favorite songs from The Messiah that we had studied in Music class, they typed up invitations and programs, learned parts to introduce each number, and Avonleah opened the night with a special speech, complete with some of her own personal humor. . .haha that girl is great. They made the refreshments and everything. The night turned out really fun and luckily some of their friends and their families braved the events. Afterwards, the girls said, "Mom can we make that a tradition please?" I love getting to expose my children to good music and letting them stretch their wings as they do things like this . . .it almost makes having them home 24/7 worth it *facepalm*
